The U2 concert was awesome! We had a great time with my parents and spent the night in Edmonton at a nice hotel. We were up very late and ordered pizzas at 230 in the morning! The next day we hit IHOP (yums) on our way out of the city. Then we headed to my parents' place at the lake for the weekend for some nice R&R. It was so nice to visit with them for a few days.
Last weekend we went out on our second camping trip of the year, with our neighbours, for a couple of days at Starland. It rained on Saturday but we made the best of it. DH couldn't fly his model plane though as it was too windy one day and then raining the next. Of course the day we left it was glorious and sunny. At least there wasn't a provincial wide fire ban this time around!
The past couple of days I've been feeling under the weather and trying to get a lot of rest to stay healthy. I was away from the office Monday and then today had to leave mid morning and come home to rest. Hoping to get feeling good again here soon.
I've been seeing the doctors at the walk-in clinic in the past few weeks and nothing interesting to report yet. Hopefully we will have great news to share later on in the summer. We are staying very hopeful right now. That's all we can do.
We are headed back to see my parents for the Fathers Day weekend this upcoming weekend. My parents are throwing a family fathers day BBQ. It should be a good time.
